Current Job Openings

Part-Time Mental Health Navigator

Location: Columbus, OH · Hybrid (community + remote)
Pay Range: $24 - $32 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. 20 - 25 hrs/week)
Funding Notice: Position contingent on Ohio Parenting & Pregnancy Program (DCY) funding 

Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, compassionate, and trauma-informed Mental Health Navigator to support pregnant/expecting women/individuals, parents, and caregivers. This role focuses on short-term, non-clinical navigation that reduces barriers to care, strengthens resilience, and connects families with essential resources.

Key Responsibilities

Provide navigation and referral support for WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, housing, and utility assistance
✅ Facilitate emotional support and goal-setting sessions with caregivers
✅ Lead psychoeducational groups on trauma, maternal stress, and parenting challenges
✅ Document client engagement, barriers to access, and referral outcomes in a timely manner
✅ Collaborate with partners to connect participants to maternal mental health peer support 
✅ Demonstrate self-driven initiative in coordinating resources, following up with clients, and problem-solving barriers to care
✅ Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

✔ Experience with perinatal or family mental health (professional or volunteer)
✔ Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally-responsive practices
✔ Knowledge of Medicaid, public benefits, and community resource navigation preferred
✔ Experience with justice/system-impacted, parenting/pregnant, or underserved families is a plus
✔ Strong communication, documentation, and self-motivation to work independently and collaboratively

Complex Trauma-Informed Contract Therapist

Location: Remote & In-Person (Ohio & Nevada)
Pay Range: $40 - $70 per client session

*Dependent on Licensure Level

Contract Position

Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. is seeking passionate and dedicated Trauma-Informed Therapists to join our growing team! Our nonprofit is committed to providing complex trauma-informed mental health services to justice-impacted individuals, families, and communities.

As a contract therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through evidence-based, holistic, and culturally responsive care. We are looking for clinicians who are committed to social justice, equity, and empowering individuals on their healing journey.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide individual, youth, family, relationship, and/or group therapy utilizing trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
✅ Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs.
✅ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

✅ Take a self-driven approach to building and maintaining a caseload, including outreach, community engagement, and marketing
✅ Collaborate with community partners, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
✅ Participate in periodic case reviews and peer consultation meetings.

Qualifications:

✔ Master’s degree or higher in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
✔ Active independent license or licensure eligibility in Ohio and/or Nevada (LMFT/IMFT, LPC/LPCC, LSW/ LCSW).
✔ Experience working with justice/system-impacted individuals, youth, families, and those affected by complex trauma.

✔ Self -driven and motivated
✔ Training or certification in trauma-focused modalities (e.g., TF-CBT, Somatic, EMDR, NARM, FFT, DBT, or ACT) preferred.
✔ Strong cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations.
✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.

Master-Level Clinical Interns

Location: Remote & In-Person (Ohio & Nevada)
Stipend: $15-$20 Per Session

Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. is seeking passionate and motivated Master-Level Clinical Interns to join our dynamic team! Our nonprofit provides trauma-informed mental health services to justice-impacted individuals, families, and communities. This internship offers a rich, hands-on learning experience in clinical mental health settings, with opportunities to develop professional competencies under experienced licensed clinicians.

What You’ll Gain:

Direct Clinical Experience – Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy under supervision.
Trauma-Informed Training – Learn evidence-based interventions for working with complex trauma.
Supervised Hours – Obtain clinical supervision to meet degree/licensure requirements.
Professional Development – Gain exposure to nonprofit mental health operations, grant-funded programming, and interagency collaboration.

Qualifications:

✔ Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
✔ Seeking practicum or internship hours required for licensure.
✔ Strong interest in working with trauma-impacted individuals, youth, families, relationships, and justice-involved populations.
✔ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
