Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. was established on May 15, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by the justice system. With our IRS approval on July 20, 2020, we have since focused on providing a comprehensive suite of services, including complex trauma-informed mental health services, personal and professional development programs, and specialized consultation for family engagement and forensic services. Our commitment is to empower and collaborate with those affected by the justice system, helping them build a successful future and strengthening social bonds within our community.
Our mission is to assist individuals and families impacted by the justice system, offering support from the onset of their legal challenges through to successful reintegration into society. We aim to provide holistic care that addresses their mental, emotional, and social needs, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary for a brighter future.
Corey Ball – Board President
Corey Ball brings extensive leadership and strategic planning experience to Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. As Board President of Directors, he oversees organizational governance and strategic initiatives, ensuring we stay true to our mission and vision.
James McGuire – Secretary

Carmen Henderson – Treasurer
Carmen Henderson, the owner of Lilac and Soul Bookkeeping manages our financial planning and budgeting. Her expertise in nonprofit financial management ensures that our funds are used effectively to support our mission.
Lenora Chapman – IMFT
Lenora Chapman, owner of Legacy Warriors Therapy,LLC. is a licensed independent marriage and family therapist. Her clinical expertise guides our mental health programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.

LT Solomon- Board Member
LT Solomon is a dedicated board member with extensive experience in the mental health and criminal justice fields, serving as an adult parole officer and a forensic case manager specializing in individuals with severe mental illness (SMI). His expertise bridges the gap between justice-involved individuals and comprehensive mental health support, advocating for systemic change and rehabilitation.
Willie Rice - Board Member
Willie Rice is a seasoned board member with over 30 years of experience with the State of Ohio, specializing in forensic hospital operations and statewide payroll oversight. His extensive expertise in financial management and administrative leadership has been instrumental in ensuring efficient operations across the full state department.
Dr. Larome Myrick - Board Member
Dr. Larome Myrick is a transformational leader with over 20 years of experience in criminal justice, public health, and human services. As the Executive Director of Juvenile Justice for the State of Rhode Island, he has spearheaded major reforms, reducing juvenile detention admissions by 60% and expanding community-based alternatives. Honored with the prestigious President’s Award by the Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators (CJJA), Dr. Myrick is a national advocate for juvenile justice reform, equity, and inclusion, bringing strategic leadership and expertise to the board.
Corey Ball Jr. - Youth and Teen Advisor
Corey Ball Jr. also provides guidance for our youth initiatives, helping to shape programs that support and empower teenagers affected by legal challenges.
Dr. Domonique Rice - Founder and Executive Director
Dr. Domonique Rice, our founder and Executive Director, is a licensed independent marriage and family therapist supervisor and owner of The Art of Love and Intimacy and Startup founder of TheraPay Now. Her extensive experience in the complex trauma-informed mental health, forensic, and human services field nationally drives our vision and strategic direction.
Daniel Rice - Youth and Teen Advisor
Daniel Rice advises our youth programs, bringing valuable insights informed by his experience as a peer mentor to assist juveniles through justice system engagement. As an Ohio State University 2023 MD Camp graduate, he brings insight into the unique challenges faced by young people in the justice system.
